    1. What does Hardrush Music license?

  • Hardrush Music licenses or sync music that is legally managers for songwriters or performers for other artist covers, film & television use, advertising and other applications. Some licenses are for as little as $100 and rise to $100,000 or more, dependant upon the length and application.

    2. How can I license or sync some music handled by Hardrush Music for my film or TV program?

  • Please state the Hardrush Music song or style you require (if you don't know the exact song title) and email Hardrush Music here stating your Name, Location, and requirement timing (if known). We will respond within 24 hours. All correspondence is treated in confidence.

    1. Can Hardrush supply my shop with CDs?

  • Hardrush Music supplies stores either directly or through reliable wholesalers. Please email Hardrush Music stating your Store Name, Location, Management Contact and any genre or specific Hardrush recording of interest. We will respond within 24 hours with our distribution arrangements that will supply your store. All correspondence is treated in confidence.

    2. Do you supply stores outside of Australia?

  • Hardrush Music supplies stores either directly or through reliable wholesalers - especially in Japan, European and North American markets. Please email Hardrush Music stating your Store Name, Location, Management Contact and any genre or specific Hardrush recording of interest. We will respond within 24 hours with our distribution arrangements that will supply your store. All correspondence is treated in confidence.

    1. Does Hardrush Music require both commercial distribution and publishing agreements to signed with Hardrush or can perhaps one area be take up without the other?

  • Hardrush Music is very flexible on this. Hardrush doesn't sign the songwriter or the performer - rather the songs in publishing and recordings of the performer, so they are separate agreements. Hardrush prefers that the songs have some publisher and if the recording contains covers these usually can be determined. Many songwriters do not have commercial recordings so just sign publishing agreements. Most performers perfer to asign both publishing and one or more recordings distribution to Hardrush as the arrangements very "independent" accountable and allow for exit if results are not forthcoming, unlike most other labels.

    2. Does Hardrush Music pay for recording studio and mastering fees?

  • Hardrush Music is an independent label that does not pay for recording studio and mastering fees. Hardrush Music can recommend quality competitive recording and mastering studios if this assists.

  • Whilst most performers with Hardrush Music distribution agreements are based in Australia, Hardrush Music distributes recordings from independent recording artists from around the world.

    5. How can I submit my recording to be considered by Hardrush Music for distribution?

  • Firstly, please do not email Hardrush Music your MP3s. The preferred method is to send your recording in normal CD Audio format with details of: Performer name, performer contact name, email, telephone, postal address, Line/Viber/Skype/Yahoo Messenger and a photograph and/or video performing. Hardrush will evaluate these materials and contact you with a decision or further discussions.

    SONGWRITERS


    1. Can Hardrush Music recover royalties that may be payable by broadcasts in North America and Europe?

  • Hardrush Music can only access royalties due to songwriters with publishing agreements with Hardrush Music. If there is such and agreement, Hardrush Music is responsible for enrepresenting the songwriter to recover royalties due. If the songwriter is a performer with a recording distributed by Hardrush Music but without a publishing agreement with Hardrush Music, then Hardrush can not seek the recovery of royalties due. If the songwriter is covered by another publisher, it is this other publisher that is responsible for the recovery of the royalties due.
